Your novel is focused on life on sea and a bunch of seamen and their adventures. Why did you choose to talk about the sea?
Fergus: I loved to explore the open countryside when young and then at sixteen I got my first boat and started diving, which opened up a whole new world of adventure.

What inspires you as a writer?
Fergus: Memories and experiences a passion for romance. Entertaining and making people laugh and providing and sharing my story with them and of course making a little something that will be timeless.

What is your favourite character in the story?
Fergus: It’s got to be Phil, he is happy go-lucky and says what he thinks and has no care in the world.

Is there any particular personal involvement you drawn inspiration from that you used in the novel?
Fergus: Yes all the diving scenes are based upon true events, the romance scenes are part fictional. I’m not telling which.

Is this your first novel or have you written something else before?
Fergus: My first.

Are you planning to write anything else?
Fergus: I have completed two since Silver Bubbles. Revenge 120.000 words, an action adventure. Deep Deceit another thriller involving government treachery deceit and corruption, as they do….!!!
