ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Peter Fergus is a former paratrooper and now a diving instructor. He is 54 years old. Before joining the 2nd Battalion, the Parachute regiment, in 1970, he was employed by utility companies as a diver.
After leaving the army in 1976, the father-of-one returned to diving

and later moved from his home in Thearne near Beverley, to Plymouth.
"I bought a charter boat in Hull, but the weather is unpredictable. I moved to the south coast where diving conditions are more suitable. But Hull is the area I know est. I have some good memories of the place That is why Silver Bubbles is set in East Yorkshire. I would describe it as a very Yorkshire book".
Mr. Fergus now takes divers to wreck off Plymouth.
